|Dear friends and supporters:
To welcome Year 2002, the year of the Horse, Lºa Vit Youth Association would like to present to you our annual Lºa Vit magazine. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a prosperous and joyous new year.
As you flip through the pages of the 2002 edition, you will no doubt realize that not only are we striving to preserve and encourage literary customs, but are also actively seeking to ensure a hope-filled future for those less fortunate children and countrymen and women back in Viet Nam. Your continued support and purchase of ñ¥c San Lºa Vit year after year has allowed us to maintain, and in some instances, expand our non-profit humanitarian programs.
The price of ñ¥c San Lºa Vit is $7.00. For this modest price, you receive 164 pages brimming with meaningful articles and poetry, artistically decorated, interspersed with refreshing photographs, a beautiful 4-color cover of original commissioned artwork, and best of all, no advertisements whatsoever. All net proceeds from the sale of this year's magazine will go to the Friendship Rice Bowl program (Chén Gåo Tình Thân), as in all years past. Please help us attain this year's goal of $61,000 to fund scholarships, orphanages, and other social and medical programs in Viet Nam.
If you would like to get a copy of this year's magazine, to help sell them at local Te^'t celebrations and Vietnamese communities, or to make a donation to the CGTT program, please contact Lºa Vit at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like more information about Lºa Vit and our non-profit programs, please visit our website at www.luaviet.org.
We hope that you enjoy this year's magazine and applaud both its contents and aesthetic value.
